<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Bîrle Nedelea is an actress with over 20 years of stage experience, a communication, image, and language consultant and trainer, founder of <a href="https://acreativehub.ro/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">A Creative Hub</a>, and a specialist in personal brand development. With an impressive theater career—having 56 plays and 5 films in her portfolio—Ionela has become a reference figure in branding and authentic communication, transforming her artistic experience into powerful tools for entrepreneurs and professionals. As the speech coordinator for TEDx Baia Mare and a communication advisor for various companies and business personalities, she combines art with strategy to help people develop an authentic image and a strong message.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> If we were to look at a narrative thread of your career, what were the key moments that defined you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> My journey began with a passion for acting and theater, where for over 20 years I learned to <a href="https://careers-business.com/raluca-nita-control-credibility-and-the-language-of-power/">control</a> emotions, connect deeply with the audience, and communicate authentically. The turning point came when I realized that these stage skills could completely transform the way entrepreneurs communicate and build their image. Collaborating with TEDx Baia Mare, where I coordinated speakers’ talks between 2018 and 2022, was another defining moment—I witnessed the power of a well-articulated message and authentic stage presence. Then came the experience as a Communication and Image Advisor for the Romanian Government, which strengthened my understanding of institutional-level image strategy. But the most important moment was founding A Creative Hub—a decision that united all these experiences into a space dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs through communication and authentic image.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What has been the biggest challenge since launching the hub, and how did you overcome it?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> The biggest challenge was transforming the abstract concept of &#8220;authentic communication&#8221; into a concrete and measurable service for entrepreneurs. Many came expecting quick success formulas, but what we offer is a process of deep personal discovery and development. I overcame this challenge by creating a complete ecosystem—not just isolated trainings, but integrated personal brand strategies, community-building events, and a personalized approach for each client. Additionally, expanding through the Zalău franchise represented a logistical challenge and a test of maintaining our values, which we addressed by carefully selecting partners who share the same vision and high standards of quality.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> Is there a dream or ambition that has always guided you, regardless of obstacles?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea: </strong>My dream is to help people find their authentic voice and use it to reach their full potential. I’ve seen too many talented entrepreneurs who fail to communicate their value or feel stuck in front of an audience. I want everyone I work with to feel the power of standing on the &#8220;stage&#8221; of their life—whether it’s a presentation, a negotiation, or an event—with confidence and authenticity. This ambition stems from my deep belief that tone creates relationships and that everyone has a unique story worth being heard. In the long term, I want A Creative Hub to become a national benchmark for personal brand development and communication in entrepreneurship.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What clear need did you observe in the community or industry that motivated you to start this project?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> I noticed a huge gap between the quality of products and services entrepreneurs offer and how they communicate about them. I saw excellent businesspeople who didn’t know how to present their projects, who had generic, personality-less speeches, or who felt uncomfortable in front of a camera or audience. Moreover, in Maramureș and the surrounding region, the lack of a dedicated space for creative collaboration and professional development was evident. Entrepreneurs needed a place to learn, connect, and access integrated services in communication, design, social media, speech training, and event organization—all under one roof. A Creative Hub addressed this need by providing not just services, but a community where creativity meets professionalism.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> If we were to meet your team or collaborators, what do you think they would say about you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> I believe they would say I am demanding, but with warmth and genuine care for everyone’s success. I draw inspiration from the discipline and dedication to excellence I learned in theater. My collaborators know I don’t compromise when it comes to authenticity and quality, yet I provide constant support and deeply believe in everyone’s potential. The testimonials speak for themselves—from Mihai Morar, who says I helped make his TEDx presence unforgettable, to Lili Gheorghe, who compares my voice to &#8220;an angel’s wings.&#8221; I think they would highlight that I bring empathy, professionalism, and the ability to see beyond the surface, helping people discover their essence and communicate it authentically.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What has been the most important decision you’ve made that changed your trajectory?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> Founding A Creative Hub was the moment that completely changed my trajectory. Until then, I had worked individually as a trainer and consultant, but I realized that real impact comes from collaboration and creating a complete ecosystem of services. This decision transformed me from a communication specialist into an entrepreneur building a platform for other entrepreneurs. It meant moving from working with individuals to building a community, from one-off projects to a long-term vision. The decision to expand through franchises was also significant—we went to Zalău with trusted partners and a clear strategy, turning the hub from a local concept into a replicable national model.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> How would you define the mission of A Creative Hub for someone unfamiliar with the project?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What <a href="https://careers-business.com/horatiu-negrea-fractional-leadership/">leadership</a> or business lesson do you consider the most valuable from your founder experience?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> The most valuable lesson is that authenticity cannot be compromised for speed or short-term profit. I have learned that true leadership means staying faithful to your values—creativity, authenticity, collaboration, and development—even when market pressure pushes toward standardization or compromise. I have also learned that a team’s strength comes from complementarity, not uniformity. Another crucial lesson is that in the service business, authentic relationships are everything. Every client, every speaker, every partner is a long-term relationship, not a transaction. And perhaps most importantly, I have learned that you must practice what you preach—if I help others communicate authentically, I must be a living example of this principle.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What does a typical day look like for you now, and what moments bring you the most satisfaction?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea: </strong>A typical day usually starts with diction and breathing exercises I also recommend to my clients—for me, the voice is my primary instrument, so it needs care. Then I conduct online training sessions with entrepreneurs enrolled in the Communication 360 course I created with Adrian Frigioiu, work on personal brand strategies, or prepare speeches for important events. I meet with the A Creative Hub team on ongoing projects, coordinate speakers for events, and develop content for clients. The moments that bring me the greatest satisfaction are those &#8220;a-ha&#8221; moments in training sessions, when I see in someone’s eyes that they’ve grasped something fundamental about their communication and presence. I also take immense joy during our events, seeing our entrepreneurial community connecting, learning from each other, and creating opportunities together. These moments confirm that what I do has a real impact on people’s lives and businesses.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What values or principles guide your work, and how do you apply them daily?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> My core values are creativity, authenticity, collaboration, and continuous development. Creativity means constantly seeking new and innovative ways to convey messages, going beyond the surface, and finding personalized solutions for each client. Authenticity is the cornerstone—I don’t create false images or exaggerated messages, but help people discover and communicate their true essence. Collaboration is in the DNA of A Creative Hub—we created this space and operate as an integrated ecosystem. Continuous development means I must always remain a student—reading, experimenting, learning from every project. Daily, these values translate into how I communicate with my team, the attention to detail I give each client, and the dedication to excellence in everything I do. My guiding principle remains: &#8220;Tone creates the relationship!&#8221;—because the way you communicate shapes all your personal and professional relationships.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> How did the idea come to open this business and choose this name?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea:</strong> The idea for A Creative Hub arose organically from collaboration and friendship with my colleagues. We realized that each of us had different companies, but our services perfectly complemented each other for the needs of a modern entrepreneur. We decided to work in the same space and create an integrated ecosystem. The name &#8220;A Creative Hub&#8221; reflects exactly the essence of what we built—a &#8220;hub,&#8221; a center for connection and collaboration where creativity is central. &#8220;A Creative&#8221; is not just an adjective, but a statement of intent—we are a space dedicated to applied creativity in business, communication, and image.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B: </strong>What are the strategic plans for A Creative Hub in the coming years?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ionela Nedelea: </strong>We have an ambitious vision for the coming years. First, we aim to consolidate and develop the existing franchises—those in Baia Mare and the recently launched one in Zalău—and to open new franchises in other Romanian cities where there is a need for integrated communication and image services. We want A Creative Hub to become a national benchmark for personal brand development in entrepreneurship. Second, we plan to expand our events and training programs, creating more networking and learning opportunities for the entrepreneurial community. We aim to develop structured long-term programs, not just one-off workshops, to ensure real and lasting transformation for our clients. Additionally, we plan to digitize part of our services, providing access to online training and educational content for entrepreneurs across the country. Our long-term goal is to build the strongest community of entrepreneurs who communicate authentically and support each other’s growth. We want A Creative Hub to be synonymous with excellence in communication and image for Romanian entrepreneurship.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> I am an entrepreneur determined to create real value for people and society, through diversity, fairness, and high-quality services that inspire trust.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What were the key moments of your career?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> A defining moment was the decision to implement an innovative business model in a traditional and rigid sector. I chose to bring people closer to a wide range of products meant to meet as many needs as possible, to offer transparency by maintaining the same prices online and in physical locations, and to guarantee high-quality services. It was a challenging process, but the results speak for themselves.<br>A second essential step was the launch of Bebe Tei – a natural continuation of our mission to meet the needs of parents and children in Romania. Today, Bebe Tei has become a reference point in the minds of consumers, strengthening its position through its product diversity, consistent pricing online and offline, and specialized guidance, becoming everyone’s favorite store, whether they are parents or not.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Another important moment was the partnership with the Dedeman group, which confirmed the strength of the brand and opened a new stage of development.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What were the biggest challenges and how did you overcome them?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> I quickly realized that a healthy and sustainable business is built on people. One of the challenges was building a united, motivated, and stable team. I constantly invested in the relationship with employees and personally engaged in their well-being. The stability of the team is reflected in the quality of services we offer our patients and customers.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> Did you have a dream or ambition that guided you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> I always wanted to make a difference—not just to exist in numbers, but for people to resonate with what I build and for me to be truly close to them. Entrepreneurship is not only about numbers; it is about the impact on society. By placing people at the center of the business, I understood how to relate to them and built everything around this idea. This was reflected in our constant effort to offer a wide diversity of products, high-quality services, and transparency in pricing. Keeping people at the core of everything I build, I continued even when the numbers didn’t always look like in the textbooks.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What were you like at the beginning of your career and how have you transformed?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> In the beginning, I spent a lot of time among people and shelves—the first pharmacy was quite small, so I had the opportunity to understand patients’ needs and how they relate to the space. To speak their language, I had to understand what it meant to be on the other side of the counter.<br>I still try to be present in our locations as often as possible, although now I can say I intuit our patients’ needs, and my focus has shifted mainly toward strategy to improve access to what Farmacia Tei aims to offer. What has not changed is the passion, curiosity, and desire to share the values at the core of the business with as many people as possible.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What do you think your team would say about you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> First, I think they would say that I am human. Just as I placed the people in front of the counters at the center of the business, my primary concern as an entrepreneur is for the people behind the counters and the entire team that makes Tei what it is. It is very important for everyone to feel included, respected, and appreciated. Of course, the reverse is also true: I expect respect, involvement, and appreciation from my team.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B: </strong>The most important decision you have made?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> I believe the decision that brought Farmacia Tei to where it is today was to remain true to my vision. It was challenging to build a business model so different from what existed on the market at that time, a model that in that socio-economic context may have been difficult to understand, yet people embraced it quite easily. This stubbornness to stay true to the values I wanted to bring to people allowed me to maintain authenticity and strengthen the image of Farmacia Tei.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B: </strong>How does Farmacia Tei influence the community?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> Farmacia Tei has become synonymous with accessibility and diversity. Through fair prices and a very wide range of products, we have created a standard of transparency and respect for patients and customers. Moreover, the constant investment in our team and its stability ensures that the experience we offer the community is positive, long-lasting, and continuously improving.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What differentiation strategies do you use in the pharmaceutical market?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> Our strategy is based on several key elements: price transparency, a huge diversity of products, and high-quality services provided by our employees. In addition, a unique element of fairness is our pricing policy: prices are the same regardless of the channel (online or offline) or the city where the customer is. This consistency conveys respect and strengthens trust in the Tei brand.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What does a typical day look like for you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> I believe any day can be defined by two words: involved and present. Any decision I make—management, financial, or operational—I make it involved and present, considering (I hope) all variables that could arise. I like to believe I end each day with the satisfaction that I have done my best every time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What values guide you?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> The values that define me as a human being also define the Tei business: fairness, respect, transparency, care, and passion. I believe Farmacia Tei has become what it is today—a benchmark of good faith and transparency—because every decision I made was based on these values. <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> How did the idea of Farmacia Tei come to life?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> Farmacia Tei entered the market to meet people’s need for decent prices and quality services. As time passed and expansion became imminent, we began to offer an increasingly wide range of products, and this is how the concept of a large-format pharmacy was born. In 2019, we opened in the Bucharest neighborhood of Rahova the location that remains our largest so far, with a total area of 2,200 square meters. What we can say now is that we plan to surpass ourselves and open at least one more location with an even larger surface.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>C&amp;B:</strong> What long-term plans and objectives do you have for Farmacia Tei?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Roxana Maftei:</strong> Our goal is to strengthen the brand and continue to develop it both offline and online, without compromising the values that brought us here. We plan to open new locations in Ploiești and Focșani and in several other major cities (county capitals) in 2026.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Through her vision and perseverance, Roxana Maftei has succeeded in redefining how Romanians relate to the concept of a pharmacy and to the idea of trust in local brands.</strong></p>
