Discover the story of Alexandru Marius Iancu, a former firefighter and DJ who became a successful entrepreneur in Romania’s event industry.

C&B: How would you describe yourself in a single sentence?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: I am a former firefighter and DJ who transformed my passion for music and organization into a relevant business, with the mission of raising the standards of the event industry in Romania.

C&B: What were the key moments that defined you?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: The first was when I gave up my firefighting career to fully commit to the entrepreneurial path. The second was when I turned Urban Events from a “one-man show” into an agency with over 40 artists. And the third was the opening of Scenario, a premium venue in One Tower, which marked my entry into a new level of the industry.

C&B: What was the most difficult moment and how did you overcome it?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: When I lost some of the artists I had invested heavily in and was forced to rebuild the portfolio almost from scratch. I overcame it through discipline, transparency with clients, and long-term repositioning. Today we are stronger and more stable than ever.

C&B: How did you look at the beginning of your journey, and how do you feel you have transformed?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: In the beginning, I was a DJ who did everything: sales, logistics, marketing. Today I am an entrepreneur building processes, brands, and teams. I transformed from an executor into a leader.

C&B: If we met with your team, what would they say about you?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: They would probably say I am demanding, that I don’t tolerate half-measures, but also that I lead by example, invest in people, and give them the opportunity to grow alongside me.

C&B: What is the most important decision you have made that changed your trajectory?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: To invest in developing my own brands. This made the difference between being just an intermediary and being a player who builds real value.

C&B: How did you develop your leadership style?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: It was both a natural and a learned process. Natural, because I brought discipline from sports and firefighting. Learned, because I consumed a huge amount of entrepreneurial education, from Cristian Onetiu to Warren Buffett.

C&B: What sets your business apart from the rest of the industry?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: The fact that we don’t just sell artists or venues, but create complete experiences, with clear processes, know-how transferred to clients, and a premium positioning.

C&B: What does a typical day look like now, and what brings you satisfaction?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: The day starts with exercise and planning, continues with meetings, strategy, and teamwork. The greatest satisfaction comes when I see an event flawlessly executed or when a client tells me they had “the best event of their life.”

C&B: What values guide you?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: Discipline, respect, and the desire to leave something new behind. I apply them in every decision, from how we treat a client to how we build a brand.

C&B: How did the business idea and the names come about?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: Urban Events came from the desire to bring a fresh, urban energy to weddings and events, different from clichés. Scenario appeared as a response to the lack of a truly flexible premium venue in Bucharest.

C&B: If you were to send a message to people who follow your example, what would it be?
Alexandru Marius Iancu: Don’t wait for the “perfect moment.” Start now, build step by step, and invest in your reputation. In the event business, and beyond, reputation beats any strategy.

Alexandru Marius Iancu shows us that passion, discipline, and investing in people and your own brands can completely transform your professional path.

Marius Marica, founder of BUG52 and entrepreneur with over 20 years in film and media, shares insights on leadership, courage, and business reinvention.

Marius Marica, entrepreneur and founder of BUG52, a podcasting studio with multiple locations in Bucharest and Iași, with over two decades of experience in the film and media production industry, and a business journey that began back in 2000, when he founded the company Atlantic Film Production.

C&B: How would you describe yourself in a single sentence that would spark curiosity in those who don’t know you yet?

Marica Marius: I am the entrepreneur who has learned that success is not a destination, but a series of new beginnings – and that is precisely why, after more than two decades spent in the film industry, I decided to set out once again, this time in podcasting.

C&B: If we were to look at a narrative thread of your career or business, what were the key moments that defined you?

Marica Marius: The first moment was in 2000, when I founded Atlantic Film, the company through which I entered the world of cinema and production. Then, the moment when I managed to grow the business to the point of an exit in 2022 was a defining stage – because it proved to me that I can build something from scratch and bring it to maturity. The third key moment is the launch of BUG52, a project where I transferred all my previous experience, but into a new field – podcasting and multimedia content – an area that is extremely current and with huge potential.

C&B: What has been the most difficult moment so far in your journey, and how did you overcome it?

Marica Marius: The most difficult moment was the transition period, when I had to detach myself emotionally from Atlantic Film, after more than two decades of work there. I overcame that stage by focusing on what I could build moving forward – and BUG52 became exactly that new beginning that restored my energy and passion.

C&B: Is there a dream or ambition that has always guided you, regardless of obstacles?

Marica Marius: If the question refers to my current ambition, then it is to create a space where people can tell their stories freely, authentically, and with impact. Podcasting gives me exactly that framework: the possibility to give voice to ideas, to connect communities, and to make messages circulate beyond barriers. For me, podcasting is not just a media format, but a tool through which everyone can leave a real mark on the world.

C&B: How did you look at the beginning of your journey, and how do you feel you’ve transformed until now?

Marica Marius: At the beginning, I was a young man full of enthusiasm, but with very little practical experience. Today, after 25 years, I have the same energy, but I combine it with patience, strategy, and an understanding of the market. I believe I have transformed from an executor into a visionary, and from a solo entrepreneur into a team leader.

C&B: If we were to meet your team or collaborators, what do you think they would say about you?

Marica Marius: I think they would say that I am perseverant, demanding, but fair. That I have high standards, but that I also give them the freedom to express their creativity. Most likely they would mention that I am solution-oriented and that I always find a way to turn ideas into reality.

C&B: What is the most important decision you have made that changed your trajectory?

Marica Marius: The decision to sell Atlantic Film and to start a completely new business in an emerging industry. It was a leap of faith – one that brought me back to the field where I feel most comfortable: innovation.

C&B: How did you build your leadership style or the way you make decisions? Was it a natural or a learned process?

Marica Marius: It was a mix. Natural, because I always had the instinct to lead and build teams, but also learned, because over time I understood the importance of listening to people, making decisions based on data, and prioritizing long-term partnerships.

C&B: What do you think differentiates your business or your professional approach from the rest of the industry?

Marica Marius: BUG52 is not just a podcast studio. It’s a space where people come to feel inspired and supported, where they receive not only top equipment, but also our know-how. The difference is that we don’t just rent a space, we offer a complete experience: from audio-video production to consultancy and post-production, in a friendly and professional environment.

C&B: What does a typical day look like for you now, and which moments bring you the greatest satisfaction?

Marica Marius: My workday begins with organization and setting priorities for the team. Then come client meetings, sessions, and often time spent directly in the studio. The most rewarding moments are when I see clients excited about the results of our work. Because that confirms we are on the right path.

C&B: What values or principles guide you in what you do, and how do you apply them day by day?

Marica Marius: The core value is quality – we do everything at the highest possible standard. Then authenticity – because only stories told sincerely resonate with the audience. And, very importantly, perseverance – no matter the obstacles, I don’t give up until we find the solution.

C&B: How did you come up with the idea to start this business and give it this name?

Marica Marius: The idea came naturally after I concluded my experience with Atlantic Film and felt it was time to build a modern business, in line with the new media trends. The name BUG52 synchronized perfectly with the address of our first studio (Berthelot Underground 52), and that made the brand organically tied to the place where we started. At the same time, for me, “BUG” symbolizes the creativity that can emerge even from imperfections, and “52” is also about consistency (the 52 weeks in a year in which you can create and tell stories). Practically, the name came naturally and managed to bring together both our roots and our long-term vision.

C&B: If you were to send a message to people who follow your example, what would it be?

Marica Marius: Don’t be afraid to start from zero. Even after building a consolidated business and going through an exit, you can reinvent your path and create something new, perhaps even more relevant. Success doesn’t only mean stability, but also the courage to reinvent yourself when you feel the time has come.

From Atlantic Film to BUG52, Marius Marica proves that success is never an endpoint but the beginning of a new chapter. With vision, perseverance, and authenticity, he continues to transform every experience into innovation and inspiration.

Discover the story of Andrei Gheorghe, founder of Pizzeria Geniale, Camionetta Pizzeria, and Pasta Del Popolo, about leadership, innovation, and a passion for gastronomy.

Andrei Gheorghe, founder and HoReCa entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, currently manages the brands Pizzeria Geniale – one of Romania’s most awarded food trucks – and Pasta Del Popolo.

C&B: How would you describe yourself in a single sentence to pique the curiosity of those who don’t know you yet?
Andrei Gheorghe: I am an entrepreneur who believes in the power of authentic taste and memorable experiences, building brands out of a passion for gastronomy and a desire to innovate.

C&B: If we look at a narrative thread of your career or business, what were the key moments that defined you?
Andrei Gheorghe: I run a family business in HoReCa that is now in its second generation. Since 2016, I have laid the foundations of Neapolitan pizza in Romania by launching the first food truck entirely dedicated to this product – Camionetta Pizzeria, a concept that brought us nationwide recognition. This was followed by Mamizza Pizzeria, Pasta del Popolo, and as of this year, a new member joined our family – Pizzeria Geniale, the newest pizzeria in the Herastrau area, a location with a retro and relaxed vibe.

C&B: What has been the most difficult moment in your journey so far, and how did you overcome it?
Andrei Gheorghe: Without a doubt, the pandemic was the toughest moment. We had to reinvent ourselves quickly, rethink our operations, and find new ways to stay close to our customers.

C&B: Is there a dream or ambition that has always guided you, regardless of obstacles?
Andrei Gheorghe: Yes, I have always dreamed of creating places where people come not just to eat, but to live an experience. This desire to offer something authentic and high-quality has remained constant in everything I’ve done.

C&B: What were you like at the beginning of your journey, and how do you feel you have transformed up to now?
Andrei Gheorghe: At the beginning, I was enthusiastic but had limited resources and knowledge. Today, I am much more attentive to strategy, the team, and long-term vision.

C&B: If we met with your team or collaborators, what do you think they would say about you?
Andrei Gheorghe: That I demand a lot because I care and because I want us to do things well, but also that they can count on me whenever they need support.

C&B: What is the most important decision you have made that changed your trajectory?
Andrei Gheorghe: The decision to launch Camionetta Pizzeria. It was an innovative concept for Romania at the time and opened doors for us at all the major festivals. It brought our brand in front of a huge audience and earned us national recognition.

C&B: How did you develop your leadership style or decision-making approach? Was it a natural process or learned?
Andrei Gheorghe: It was a mixed process. I learned from mistakes, from experience, but also from observation. I realized that a good leader must be present, listen, but also have the courage to make firm decisions.

C&B: What do you think differentiates your business or professional approach from the rest of the industry?
Andrei Gheorghe: Authenticity. We do not compromise on quality, whether it’s ingredients, recipes, or the customer experience. Each of our brands has a clear story and a strong identity.

C&B: What does a typical day look like for you now, and what moments of the day bring you the greatest satisfaction?
Andrei Gheorghe: I aim to balance family life with business, so the day begins with taking my son to school, followed by site visits, planning and discussions with the team, meetings with various partners or suppliers, and I dedicate the last part of the day to my family. Satisfaction comes from busy venues, customers’ smiles, messages of appreciation we receive, and the peace of being at home.

C&B: What values or principles guide you in what you do, and how do you apply them daily?
Andrei Gheorghe: Respect for people and quality. Every decision is measured against these principles: how it affects the team, how it affects the customer, and how we maintain high standards.

C&B: How did you come up with the idea to open this business and give it this name?
Andrei Gheorghe: For Pizzeria Geniale, I wanted a name that conveys the “wow” feeling we want our customers to experience. Camionetta was about mobility, and Del Popolo – about the simplicity and authenticity of Italian cuisine.

Discover the story of entrepreneur Pincu Ionescu, passionate about sales and technology, who turns challenges into simple solutions and inspires through perseverance and innovation.

Pincu Ionescu, an entrepreneur passionate about sales and technology, is an exceptional problem solver, always seeking the best solutions for the challenges in the businesses he engages with, driven by a desire to support people and contribute, step by step, to a slightly better world.

C&B: How would you describe yourself in a single sentence to make people who don’t know you yet curious?
Pincu Ionescu: I am the kind of person who takes complicated things and turns them into simple, clear solutions, so that people and businesses can achieve their goals without headaches.

C&B: If we look at the narrative of your career or business, what were the key moments that defined you?
Pincu Ionescu: The first key moment was at 23, when I started my first business, which failed before it really took off, but it showed me the direction I needed to develop in and taught me more than any course ever could. The second defining moment was the AutoVantage experience — even though the project didn’t continue, for me it remained my greatest professional success due to the lessons learned, the network of contacts built, and the ability to handle difficult situations much more easily.

C&B: What has been the most difficult moment in your journey so far, and how did you overcome it?
Pincu Ionescu: The most difficult moment was deciding not to continue the AutoVantage project. I had invested an enormous amount of energy, time, and emotion, and giving up was a hard blow. However, that moment taught me an essential lesson: it doesn’t matter how many times you fall, but how you get back up. I chose to view failure not as the end of the road, but as a natural step in the learning process, which helped me regain confidence and move forward much better prepared.

C&B: Is there a dream or ambition that has always guided you, regardless of obstacles?
Pincu Ionescu: One of my great childhood passions was skateboarding, and from that I learned lessons that have guided me throughout life, no matter the obstacles: if I set my mind to something, I don’t give up until I succeed, I must learn to fall without hurting myself too much, constantly analyze and improve my movements, but most importantly, always get back up until I get it right. That same ambition and discipline later shaped the way I approach professional challenges.

C&B: How did you look at the beginning of your journey, and how do you feel you have transformed to the present?
Pincu Ionescu: At the beginning, I tended to throw myself headfirst after big ideals, perhaps even bigger than I realized myself. Over time, I learned that true construction is built on a solid foundation, and that a “slow and steady” pace gives you the time and resources needed to tackle truly great projects. Today, I manage my energy better and choose my battles wisely, without giving up the ambition that has always pushed me forward.

C&B: If we met with your team or collaborators, what do you think they would say about you?
Pincu Ionescu: I believe one of my greatest joys is that all the people I’ve worked with in teams have managed to advance professionally and, overall, reach a better place than when we first met. I feel that I have contributed meaningfully to their journey, and that says more about me than any title or position ever could.

C&B: What is the most important decision you have made that changed your trajectory?
Pincu Ionescu: The most important decision came after my first business failed and I realized I didn’t want to return to corporate life. I chose to join a successful startup, where I met my first mentor and caught what I like to call the “tech startup virus.” That choice completely changed my perspective and became the foundation for my subsequent professional journey.

C&B: How did you develop your leadership style or decision-making approach? Was it a natural process or learned?
Pincu Ionescu: For me, it was a natural process. Step by step, I discovered that people need someone who is close to them, who listens and guides them, not just gives directives. I learned to make decisions by taking risks while also assuming responsibility for the team, and the most valuable lesson was that if you guide your team members toward as much personal success as possible, then the whole company succeeds.

C&B: What does a typical day look like for you now, and what moments bring you the greatest satisfaction?
Pincu Ionescu: A typical day for me is a mix of individual work and interactions with people — clients or collaborators. The most satisfying moments are when I manage to find the right solution to a real problem and see that it makes life easier for those in front of me. I like to end the day with the feeling that I’ve accomplished something tangible and taken a step forward, however small, toward the bigger projects I’m working on.

C&B: What values or principles guide you in what you do, and how do you apply them day to day?
Pincu Ionescu: One principle I never stray from is that I can never sell something I don’t believe in myself. I value my word and the promises I make, which means I prefer to say I’ll try rather than promise something I’m not sure I can deliver. I want people to know they can rely on me, and that when I take on a responsibility, I will do everything possible to deliver.

C&B: How did the idea of starting this business come to you, and how did you choose its name?
Pincu Ionescu: In both AutoVantage and the projects that followed, the ideas came from real problems I encountered personally. Each time, I looked for the simplest and most effective solution — one that no one else was offering at that moment. For me, every business starts with a need, and from there everything takes shape, including the name and the identity of the project.

C&B: If you were to give a message to people who follow your example, what would it be?
Pincu Ionescu: There is no recipe for success in business or in life. What truly matters is resilience and perseverance — NEVER give up.

Pincu Ionescu’s story shows us that success doesn’t come overnight, but through perseverance, learning from mistakes, and a genuine desire to support others. His lessons from entrepreneurship and passion for innovative solutions inspire us to never give up and to build impactful projects step by step.

Discover Mihai Vutof’s inspiring journey — a true example of courage, authenticity, and perseverance in the world of entrepreneurship.

Mihai Vutof – Co-founder of Paragon Music Festival – a 20-year-old with diverse experiences in the world of music events and marketing. Since the age of 15, Mihai has worked with various associations and organizations such as the Student Council, as a Graphic Designer, which brought him into networking contexts that sparked a passion for the world of music events. By the age of 18, he had already laid the foundations for a music festival dedicated to youth, involving them directly and promoting up-and-coming artists.

C&B: How would you describe yourself in a single sentence to pique the curiosity of those who don’t know you yet?
Mihai Vutof: A guy who dove in headfirst, hit the wall, and got up every single time. I’ve learned firsthand what the Romanian event industry really means and what it’s like to build a large-scale local event from below zero. I’ve hit my head and it hurt, but everything happened for a reason and brought me to where I was meant to be.

C&B: If we were to follow the narrative thread of your career or business, what were the defining moments?
Mihai Vutof: Chronologically, I’m not sure where it all began, but even in high school, through student organizations like the Bucharest Municipal Student Council, I found myself in valuable networking contexts that eventually pushed me into the events industry. The most important leap for me was the Paragon Music Festival, a joint initiative between me and my former high school music teacher, Anamaria Sârbu. It was an initiative that brought together young student artists with nationally renowned performers. We had zero experience in organizing such events, but gradually, through meeting the right people in the industry and with a bit of luck, the festival actually happened—and in really good conditions, on September 15–16, 2023, at the Romexpo outdoor venue.

That festival opened many doors in my career, including my current role at the digital marketing agency Danco Vision, owned by one of Paragon’s main partners. Another key moment was working as Assistant Project Manager for the first edition of Unforgettable Symphonic Experience, a festival that truly showed me everything behind the scenes and all the people who make it happen.

C&B: What has been the most difficult moment in your journey, and how did you overcome it?
Mihai Vutof: Without a doubt, the hardest moment was the end of Paragon Music Festival. Imagine: an 18-year-old and his music teacher managed to organize a festival from scratch in less than 6 months, with a lineup of over 50 artists, a 20-meter-wide stage, and a space of over 10,000 square meters. Still, being a first edition mostly self-funded, with budgets and costs changing daily, we ran into problems—especially in marketing (ironically, my field, which I had treated as the least of my worries). Because of that, many expenses couldn’t be covered, suppliers were put on hold after the event, and there was a whole other mess I won’t go into.

Still, about a month after the event ended, things settled down. I was in a period of both physical and mental recovery, with nothing on my plate. It was supposed to be my first year of university, but I hadn’t enrolled because I knew I wouldn’t have time in September–October. Everyone else was moving forward. Then came an opportunity from Daniel Ionescu, CEO of Danco Vision, to work at his digital marketing agency as a graphic designer. That offer saved me at that moment, and I’m still grateful for it to this day.

C&B: Is there a dream or ambition that has always guided you, no matter the obstacles?
Mihai Vutof: I always want to outgrow my own limitations in every way—that’s my drive. I love the saying: “When you feel like you can’t go on, go on a little more.” That mindset has helped me rise every time I’ve fallen, and achieve even better results.

C&B: What were you like at the start of your journey, and how do you feel you’ve transformed since then?
Mihai Vutof: If I take 16 years old as my starting point, there’s a huge difference between then and almost 21, my current age. At 16, I was a high school kid dreaming of popularity and partying all day, but I also loved to help and get involved in anything that could improve the world around me. Back then I had no work ethic, well-hidden social anxiety, and a serious case of rebellion and stubbornness.
Now, at 21, I still enjoy parties and helping people, and I’m still a bit stubborn—but I’ve learned where the limits are. All-night parties only on Saturdays, helping others only when they’re not taking advantage, and stubbornness only when I have solid arguments.
The main difference between the old me and the current me is that now I understand the gray areas, the nuance in everything.

C&B: If we talked to your team or collaborators, what would they say about you?
Mihai Vutof: Ana, my partner at Paragon, would definitely laugh and praise me like one of her award-winning students . The team at the marketing agency is very dear to me, and I like to think that after almost two years, I’m just as dear to them. I think they’d say good things about me—except maybe the occasional complaint about my stubbornness.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with hundreds of people: brand owners and managers, artists, and insiders from festivals like Untold, Neversea, and Unforgettable. From all these people, I’ve learned valuable lessons. And if you ask them about me, I’m sure they’d use this phrase: “a resourceful guy.” That’s how I like to describe myself—resourceful.

C&B: What’s the most important decision you’ve made that changed your trajectory?
Mihai Vutof: In 2024, I randomly decided to apply for the Untold Creators by Visa mentorship program. There, I met some of the most important mentors I’ve had in my career. If I hadn’t joined that program, I probably wouldn’t still be connected to the events and music industry. I joined the program as an artist manager, and it was an extraordinary experience—my first time backstage at a global festival like Untold, analyzing everything going on behind the scenes.
It was an honor to win the first edition of this program, and it really helped me get back on track in this field.

C&B: How did you build your leadership style or decision-making process? Was it natural or learned?
Mihai Vutof: A completely natural process. Trial and error, experiences in various management contexts, and honestly, a lot of luck—no point in lying. I consider myself extremely lucky, and sometimes I feel like things fall into place not how I want them to, but exactly how I need them to.

C&B: What sets your business or your professional approach apart from the rest of the industry?
Mihai Vutof: My authenticity and personal attitude toward the product I deliver—whether it’s an event or a graphic design piece. I put my heart into it, I do it wholeheartedly, and I bring a touch of creativity that, honestly, even I get surprised by sometimes.

C&B: What does a typical day look like for you now, and what parts of the day bring you the most satisfaction?
Mihai Vutof: A regular day means a 9 to 5 at the office or working from home, followed by some extra projects until around 8 PM. After all that, relaxation, disconnecting, and socializing are top priorities. I’ve deprived myself of those things for too long. Now that my life is more stable, I want to enjoy the little moments—with family, friends, and sometimes even alone.

C&B: What values or principles guide your work, and how do you apply them daily?
Mihai Vutof: I’ve never defined them formally, but I’ve always wanted to do things honestly and make sure everyone benefits equally. I believe what you give is what you get back. I always try to give fairness, and a little extra—because that’s who I am. I like to help and know that in the end, no matter the original agreement, things are done right.

C&B: How did you come up with the idea to start this business and choose this name?
Mihai Vutof: Speaking about Paragon—we spent about a month doing intense name research. In the end, the answer was right under my nose. I didn’t even know what “Paragon” meant, but I had been obsessed with the word since childhood after hearing it in a video game. I used it for email addresses, accounts, social media channels—everything. By 2018, even my parents had borrowed it for their plumbing business. It basically became my family’s trademark.
Later I found out it means “a model of excellence”—funny, right?

The idea for the project came initially from Ana Sârbu. A year before Paragon, we had organized a pilot version in our high school courtyard, called Cervantes Summer Festival. Afterward, while joking around, we said: “Next year we’ll do it at Romexpo.” And we actually did it—at a whole new level, slightly different concept, and featuring national artists, but born out of a high school festival.

C&B: If you could send a message to those following your example, what would it be?
Mihai Vutof: Super simple: believe in yourself. I didn’t, and I’m grateful that the people around me believed enough for two lifetimes. I’m thankful for everyone who’s supported me throughout my career. Without their belief in me, I don’t know if I ever could’ve developed my own. With confidence—and reason—you can do anything.

Mihai Vutof’s journey is a true example of courage, perseverance, and authenticity. His path reminds us that staying true to our values can turn dreams into reality.

Adrian Enache, founder of Omniperform, is revolutionizing advertising with AI-driven solutions and personalized communication. Discover the story behind the innovation.

Adrian Enache is an award-winning entrepreneur and executive (Top 50 CEOs – UK Magazine, Top 40 under 40 – SEE Business Awards, Top 100 Young Managers – Business Magazine, Excellence Award for Executive and Entrepreneurial Achievements – Repatriot) with solid experience in digital transformation, media and communication, marketing, e-commerce, and investments in high-potential startups.
He has successfully led diverse teams across various industries and countries, both within large corporations and through his own ventures. Throughout his career, Adrian has accelerated the digitalization processes of the corporations he worked with and founded companies such as Omniperform, specializing in personalized communication powered by artificial intelligence.

Passionate about education and knowledge sharing, Adrian has trained over 25,000 professionals globally and has been invited to speak at hundreds of international events such as DMF Dubai, Cairo, IMWorld, and Technology Week. Currently, he is also a lecturer at NextMBA, alongside renowned figures such as Philip Kotler, Seth Godin, and other globally recognized leaders.

C&B: Adrian, how would you describe yourself in a few words?
Adrian Enache: I’m someone who seeks to explore and become the best version of himself. And if possible, to change the way things are done in the industry I’ve chosen. In the meantime, I enjoy building great teams that take pleasure in the journey of creating something innovative in advertising and marketing.

C&B: What were the key moments in your professional journey?
Adrian Enache: The key moments in my professional path include: Opening my first agency at the age of 24 in Romania, achieving growth well above the market average; Taking over and leading the investment fund and alternative financing platform Angels Den Funding, operating in the UK, Poland, and Romania; Reaching over 100 conferences and training sessions, with more than 25,000 participants in digital and media workshops; Being invited to teach alongside Philip Kotler, Seth Godin, and other international trainers at NextMBA; Launching Omniperform, into which I invested all my resources—including mortgaging my own home—to build a product based on artificial intelligence and personalized communication, dedicated to transforming the way brands connect with their audiences.

C&B: What has been the most difficult moment so far, and how did you overcome it?
Adrian Enache: One of the most difficult moments was when I had to urgently shut down the first agency I had founded — due to reasons beyond my control. It was a shock, but also a turning point. That’s when I realized that the only real solution was to take control of my future, to be much more careful about whom I choose to trust, and even if it meant risking everything, to do it in a format I truly believed in. That’s how Omniperform was born — the first advertising agency in Romania that, from day one, offered part of the company to its employees through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), as well as a bonus directly tied to the company’s profits.

C&B: Is there a dream or ambition that has always motivated you, regardless of obstacles?
Adrian Enache: Our ambition is rooted in the belief that advertising can be effective without being intrusive for consumers. We want brand messages to first and foremost capture attention, be relevant, and be memorable.
Our mission is to innovate and completely transform the way creativity contributes to media campaign performance — by developing solutions that deliver personalized messages tailored to each consumer type.
Personally, I believe each of us has a responsibility to try to reach our full potential in the field we choose to work in. And that journey should be guided by ambition, but also by humbleness — that kind of authentic modesty that’s hard to fully translate into Romanian, but is essential in leadership and innovation.

C&B: Looking back at the beginning of your career, what do you see?
Adrian Enache:
I believe each of us has a duty to build a personal guide — a set of values and beliefs that reflect how we think, what motivates us, and what helps us grow both personally and professionally.
Looking back at my early days as a manager and entrepreneur, I recognize that period was marked by a drive for perfection, but also important lessons about the transition from expert to manager.
Later came the challenge of becoming a leader capable of turning a group of individuals into an autonomous, motivated team aligned with a common goal.
Over time, I’ve learned that authenticity plays a crucial role in leadership style. A team immediately senses when you lead with honesty, vulnerability, and consistency in your values — and that creates real trust, not just authority.

C&B: If we were to talk to your team or collaborators, what do you think they’d say about you?
Adrian Enache: That’s a great question — in fact, it’s one we often use in our self-awareness evaluations.
I’d say my leadership style is built on motivation, constructive high standards, and trust. I want us to grow together at a sustained pace, in an environment that challenges but also inspires. I believe in leadership that offers vision and innovation, but most importantly, builds ambitious teams capable of exceeding market expectations.
I seek excellence in everything we do, and I live by a clear principle: I don’t want to be the best in the room. That’s why my goal is for every team member to become better than me, in their own way.
Collaborators choose to work with us because they trust the people, the technology, the personalization innovation, and the consistent, solid results we’ve delivered over time.

C&B: What’s the most important decision you’ve made that changed your trajectory?
Adrian Enache: I chose to completely switch industries for two years and made a sustained effort to learn a new field — financial services, equity investment, pre-seed, seed, and Series A — in under six months.
That experience matured me significantly. It pulled me out of my comfort zone — out of the industry where I was already trained and the country I lived in — and pushed me to work, lead, and collaborate with people from over 15 nationalities across the continent.
It was one of the most valuable periods of both professional and personal development.

C&B: Should a leader be authentic or adaptable?
Adrian Enache: It’s a continuous journey of evolution, grounded in learning, conscious decision-making, and discovering what authenticity in leadership really means.
I believe every leader should be authentic, should take responsibility for their team and its results, and should create a space where people can grow in a healthy, meaningful way.
True leadership doesn’t come from title or position — it comes from responsibility and genuine care for the people you’re building with.

C&B: How do you and your team stand out in the industry?
Adrian Enache: Right now, we deliver an integrated and fluid experience for consumers, through personalized communication in media campaigns and by adapting digital assets (like landing pages and websites) in real time based on consumer behavior.
This process, combined with our proprietary AI models — which generate a unique attention and result prediction algorithm — gives us a distinct market positioning: an innovative, reliable partner for brands that choose to work with us long-term.
In an industry where brands typically change agencies every 2–3 years, we have partners who have worked with Omniperform for over 8 years — a clear sign of trust and consistent value delivery.

C&B: What does a typical day look like for you, and what moments bring the most satisfaction?
Adrian Enache: A typical day for me focuses on no more than three clear objectives that can be accomplished that day, and working closely with the team to become better at what we do. In parallel, we decide what new functionalities are essential for the future of online advertising.
I believe in achievements and continuous progress — if we’re better than we were yesterday, the day was meaningful and contributed to the future of both myself and the company I lead.

C&B: What’s your set of values and principles?
Adrian Enache: Our values are applied daily and guide everything we do: Evolution – We believe in continuous personal growth, starting with a high level of self-awareness; Responsibility – We take ownership of our promises and deliver what we say, to colleagues, clients, and partners; Enjoying & having fun at work – We maintain a culture of transparency and ease, where serious work is balanced with the joy of collaboration; Teamwork – We support one another and function as a unified team, not just as individuals; Respect – We show and offer respect to everyone we work with, regardless of role or experience; Humbleness – We strive for excellence but remain aware that we always have something to learn from those around us, no matter how much we innovate.

C&B: How did the idea for this business come about, and where does the name “Omniperform” come from?
Adrian Enache: From the very start of my career in media, I felt that irrelevant advertising messages had no place — not from a professional perspective, nor as a consumer.
The idea of sending one message to an entire audience always felt wrong and ineffective to me.
So when technology finally allowed it, and I was able to launch a new company, Omniperform, I invested all my resources — including personal ones — to build a solution that could deliver personalized communication, tailored to each consumer type, both in media campaigns and on websites or conversion landing pages.
The name Omniperform came to life one weekend in London, together with my mentor (who is now also a shareholder in the company). After a few hours of intense discussion and a glass of whisky, we arrived at a formula that combined Omnichannel and Performance Marketing — perfectly reflecting what we aim to deliver: personalization at scale, with tangible results.

C&B: If you could send a message to people following your example, what would it be?
Adrian Enache: Entrepreneurship isn’t easy — but it’s worth it.
Building a team and, as a leader, seeing people grow and reach their potential because of the environment and context you’ve created is a type of fulfillment that’s hard to compare with anything else.

When trying to build and go far, you need a team.
Alone, you may go faster — but with a united team, you can build something lasting.

When I started and talked to brands about personalized communication, 9 out of 10 meetings looked at us as dreamers. For many, the idea of not sending the same message to everyone seemed crazy.
But I believed in the idea — and we kept going.
And today, nearly every brand is looking for exactly that: a personalized communication solution, because the market reality has changed and consumers now expect relevance.
That’s why I believe it’s essential to have the courage to move forward, even if you’re 3–4 years ahead of the market.
Believe in your solution before everyone else understands it.

C&B: What key moments defined your transition from passion to a successful business?
Gabriela Oltean: The first moment was when I met Ligia Pop, the one who first introduced the “raw vegan” concept to Romania around 2009. She gave me the confidence that I could do something truly meaningful in this field. She guided me toward the U.S. to study the foundations of the concept, and I thank her with deep gratitude whenever I get the chance. Another important moment came three years after opening the lab, when I decided to launch the pastry shop on Michael Weiss Street, in 2016.

C&B: What’s been the most difficult moment in your journey, and how did you overcome it?
Gabriela Oltean: Like for many others, the hardest moment was the 2020 pandemic. Empty streets, fear and tension everywhere, people seemingly forgetting how to live. That’s when I realized I needed to find another way to “keep the doors open,” as I used to say. I decided to start offering food deliveries — daily menus — especially as most people were now working from home. I continued doing that for two years, with huge personal effort, which led to burnout. I had to draw the line and set a clear intention: if the project was to continue, it would focus solely on desserts. And the universe helped me move forward exactly in that direction.

C&B: Was there a dream or ambition that always kept you going?
Gabriela Oltean: The dream that started it all — and that I still hold clear in my mind — is to show people that it’s possible to enjoy sweets that are sugar-free, gluten-free, and animal protein-free while also being healthy and visually stunning. I wanted to destroy the myth that healthy food has to taste bad or look plain. You can absolutely make healthy desserts that are gourmet in every sense.

C&B: How have you changed from when you first started to now?
Gabriela Oltean: At the beginning, I was bursting with optimism and wanted to turn everyone vegan. I truly believed that a plant-based, alkaline, gluten-free diet was the key to perfect health and happiness. Today, I still believe nutrition plays a key role in health, but the most important thing is learning to manage your emotions and to look at things you can’t control with calm detachment.

C&B: What would your team or collaborators say about you, if we asked them?
Gabriela Oltean: Honestly, I think you’d have to ask them yourselves.

C&B: What’s the most important decision you’ve made that changed your trajectory?
Gabriela Oltean: Switching from a background in wood engineering to becoming a raw vegan chef. Leaving behind a stable and comfortable job to dive headfirst into an entirely unknown world. These changes pulled me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to start discovering myself — something I’m extremely grateful for.

C&B: How did you develop your leadership style? Was it instinctive or learned?
Gabriela Oltean: I developed in a time when the word “leadership” wasn’t as commonly used as it is today. I graduated in the 1990s, during the early years of Romania’s so-called “capitalist” economy. So, my way of making decisions evolved over time — we were a generation that had to adapt and learn on the go.

C&B: What makes your business or your approach stand out in the industry?
Gabriela Oltean: At Delicious Raw, our products are handcrafted with passion and attention to both taste and aesthetics. Beyond being safe for people with various intolerances, they’re made with care and dedication. Our clients return, above all, for the flavor.
