Major Investment Strengthens Pediatric Healthcare Infrastructure in Romania
Groupama Romania, the country’s leading insurance company, has announced a €1 million donation to build a new emergency operating block at the “Marie Curie” Children’s Hospital in Bucharest. The funds, redirected from profit tax, will support the construction and equipment of a modern surgical and endoscopy unit, in partnership with the Inima Copiilor Association.
The hospital treats over 100,000 children annually, nearly half requiring hospitalization. The new facility, expected to open early next year, will serve around 10,000 patients per year.
