Packeta Romania Expands Operations with New Logistics Hub in Oradea

The company’s newest logistics center can process 100,000 parcels per day

Packeta Romania, part of the Packeta Group, has inaugurated a modern logistics center in Oradea, covering 5,500 square meters and capable of processing up to 100,000 parcels daily. The new facility is more than five times larger than the company’s previous space in the city.

Strategic Location and Advanced Facilities

The center is located in CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal, Romania’s first industrial park with an integrated cargo terminal, providing direct access to Oradea Airport and the European road network. The elimination of border controls following Romania’s entry into the Schengen area helps reduce transit times for cross-border deliveries.

The investment includes automation and digitalization systems for logistics processes, as well as Direct Print technology for rapid parcel processing. The building meets international sustainability standards and is BREEAM certified, ensuring reduced energy consumption and optimized workflow.

Dedicated Team and Expansion Plans

The new hub will be operated by approximately 40 employees. “The opening of this center is part of our plan to expand the national logistics network and increase processed volumes, in line with the growth of e-commerce,” stated a Packeta Romania representative.
