Remus Constantin Enuș: From Execution to Vision. Leadership, TV Production, and the Power of Teams That Deliver

Remus Constantin Enuș, TV Executive Producer and Showrunner, talks about his professional journey, leadership, TV production, social media, and the decisions that shaped his career in the media industry.

Remus Constantin Enuș is a TV Executive Producer / Showrunner in the media and content industry, with experience in TV show production, event coordination, and social media strategy. He is currently involved in TV productions such as Hello Chef and MediCOOL for Antena 1 and leads the Social Media Department at Dreamfilm, overseeing digital content for all Antena 1 prime-time productions as well as private clients.
His professional background also includes a significant chapter in advertising and BTL, where he worked as an Events Producer, organizing events for some of the largest clients on the market, including OMV Petrom, Mercedes-Benz, Raiffeisen, EY, Regina Maria, and Volvo. This experience shaped his execution discipline, attention to detail, and strong results-driven mindset.
He is known for his pragmatic style, his ability to build and coordinate efficient teams, and the rigor with which he follows every project, from concept to delivery, while maintaining a constant respect for punctuality and high-quality standards.

C&B: If we were to trace a narrative thread through your career, which key moments have defined you?

Remus Constantin Enuș: If I were to place my career on a narrative line, I would say it’s a combination of “learning on the ground” and making the right decisions at the right time. A key moment was my period working in large-scale event production, where I learned firsthand what budgets, suppliers, pressure, unpredictability, and minute-by-minute delivery really mean. That’s where I developed the reflex of thinking in solutions, not excuses.

Another defining moment was my experience in advertising and BTL, which taught me pace, execution standards, and how to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders and extremely tight deadlines. It was also the time when I truly understood what it takes to organize a festival or a major brand launch and, most importantly, when I made the transition from pure production to creativity and strategy.

The most visible and relevant stage for me, however, is my current work in TV production and social media. Being involved simultaneously in filming, strategy, and deliverables that reach the audience directly confirmed that this is where I function best. Hello Chef and MediCOOL are not just titles to me, but projects built from scratch alongside my colleagues, with creativity at the forefront.

In parallel, the social media side grew organically, out of passion, and quickly turned into a solid business. We managed to attract numerous clients, including the most important one—Antena 1 productions—for which we achieved remarkable results on projects such as Insula Iubirii, Power Couple, Chefi la Cuțite, MediCOOL, and Te Cunosc de Undeva. These results confirmed that when vision, team, and execution align, growth comes naturally.

C&B: What has been the most difficult moment in your journey so far, and how did you overcome it?

Remus Constantin Enuș: Honestly, the most difficult moments weren’t isolated events, but rather periods when I had to manage project delivery, people, budgets, and very high expectations all at once. From the outside, everything may look fine, but behind the scenes the energy drain is huge. In those situations, the temptation is to close yourself off and carry everything alone. I learned, however, that this approach doesn’t work in the long run.

What helped me was building a simple system based on clear priorities, direct communication, and—most importantly—the ability to ask for the right help at the right time. I understood how crucial it is to have a strong team you can trust and to whom you can delegate real responsibility. Instead of trying to be the hero who does everything, I chose to be the person who organizes the “playing field” so the team can win the game. This shift completely changed my stress levels and the quality of my decisions.

Additionally, one of the toughest periods was undoubtedly during the pandemic. The lockdown was extremely difficult for both me and my colleagues in events and filming, where everything stopped abruptly. Adaptability was key: a rapid shift to online, rethinking formats, and flexibility in approach helped us move forward and turn a critical period into an important lesson in reinvention.

C&B: Is there a dream or ambition that has always guided you, regardless of obstacles?

Remus Constantin Enuș: Yes, the ambition to build projects that last, not just campaigns that pass. I’ve always been drawn to the space where creativity meets execution and real audience impact: seeing a format grow, a team mature, a brand or show find its voice.

And there’s something else: I’ve always wanted to be where “things happen,” where you can influence direction, not just execute. That’s where my energy for production, social media, rhythm, trends, and audience attention comes from.

C&B: What were you like at the beginning of your journey, and how do you feel you’ve changed?

Remus Constantin Enuș: In the beginning, I was much more focused on speed and rapid execution. I wanted to solve everything quickly, control as much as possible, and relied heavily on energy and intuition—a style that works early on, but isn’t sustainable long-term.

Over time, I’ve become more grounded and strategic. Today, I pay much closer attention to process, people, and how teams are built, as well as how expectations and quality standards are clearly defined. I’ve learned that leadership means creating a framework in which others can perform consistently, not doing everything yourself.

People I’ve learned from played a crucial role in this transformation. At Dreamfilm, Eugenia Bălan was a leader from whom I absorbed many principles related to organization, rigor, and responsibility. In BTL, Carmen Zahiu played a decisive role in my professional development, teaching me discipline, attention to detail, and respect for execution. Equally important were the teams that wanted to grow alongside me and Dreamfilm.

C&B: If we spoke with your collaborators, what do you think they would say about you?

Remus Constantin Enuș: I believe they would say that I’m very results-oriented and that I genuinely care about delivery. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t leave things unresolved and who prefers to always have a plan, even in an industry where things can change overnight.

They would probably also say that I’m demanding, but fair. When I ask for a lot, I ask it first from myself. At the same time, those who’ve worked with me know that I enjoy seeing them grow, giving them real responsibility, and making them feel that their work truly matters—not just that they’re checking off tasks.

I’d also like to think they’d describe me by a simple rule I live by: work is work, fun is fun. When we work, we work seriously; when it’s time to enjoy the results, we do it fully.

C&B: What was the most important decision you made that changed your trajectory?

Remus Constantin Enuș: The most important decision was positioning myself in full-scale production – where you’re not just “a role,” but the person who connects creativity, execution, people, and business. Moving from one-off projects to recurring, high-stakes projects with a constant rhythm in television represented a real level-up for me.

A key moment was being entrusted with building TV projects from scratch. Together with Eugenia Bălan and Cosmin Ion, I created two new formats—MediCOOL and Hello Chef—projects where I fully transitioned from production into creation. That’s when responsibility went beyond delivery to include vision, content, and direction.

At the same time, I chose not to limit myself to a single niche. My experience in advertising and BTL gave me a real advantage in how I approach execution, brand relationships, and production discipline. This combination helped me see projects holistically and make clearer, more confident decisions.

C&B: How did you develop your leadership style and decision-making approach? Was it natural or learned?

Remus Constantin Enuș: It was both natural and learned..or, as I like to say, “stolen” in the best sense of the word. Natural, because I’ve always had the instinct to organize things and take responsibility when things heat up and quick decisions are needed.

The learned part came through observation. In reality, no one has time to teach you step by step, especially in our industry. That’s why I strongly believe in “stealing the craft” from good people around you. I was fortunate to work alongside strong examples, from whom I took not only techniques, but also principles of accountability, clarity, and respect for the team.

At the same time, I like to trust my colleagues and work collaboratively. I believe a good leader isn’t the one who knows or does everything, but the one who creates a context where people feel involved, responsible, and motivated to give their best.

C&B: What does a typical day look like for you now, and which moments bring you the most satisfaction?

Remus Constantin Enuș: My day usually starts with a mix of emotions while checking ratings by email and a quick scroll through social media to take the pulse of the day and spot new trends. Then comes the drive to the office, where a typical day means brainstorming and a team meeting to decide what’s urgent, what needs adjusting, and what decisions must be made quickly.

This is followed by meetings with new and existing clients—a part of my job I truly enjoy. I like staying close to clients, understanding their needs, and building things together. I also regularly align with Jeni to set direction and priorities, especially during busy periods.

If there are no shoots or extended meetings, the end of the day is reserved for personal balance: either an hour spent with my son at his kickboxing training or relaxing on the couch, watching TV while my fiancée tells me about her day. These simple moments often bring me the greatest satisfaction and help me recharge for the next day.

C&B: What values or principles guide you, and how do you apply them daily?

Remus Constantin Enuș: There are three values that guide me constantly.

Responsibility. If you say you’ll deliver, you must deliver. And if a problem arises, it’s essential to communicate it early and come with a solution, not excuses.

Clarity. I prefer direct conversations, solid briefs, and explicit expectations. In production, ambiguity costs time, energy, and nerves—simple and clear always works better.

Respect for people and their work. I believe you can demand a lot without crushing someone, and you can be demanding without being unfair. Every day, I strive to maintain high professional standards in an environment where work is taken seriously, but the atmosphere remains human.

C&B: If you had one message for those who follow your example, what would it be?

Remus Constantin Enuș: Don’t fall in love only with ideas, fall in love with execution. Good ideas are plentiful, but the real difference is made by those who carry them through to the end with discipline, consistency, and a strong team by their side.

And perhaps most importantly, build your reputation through small things repeated daily: how you react when it’s hard, how you communicate, and how much you respect your word. Over time, these become your real “brand,” far more valuable than any title on a business card.

Remus Constantin Enuș’s career path clearly demonstrates that sustainable performance is built at the intersection of creativity, discipline, and accountability. From events and advertising to prime-time TV productions and high-impact social media strategies, each stage has contributed to shaping a leader focused on results, people, and long-term vision.
