retailArena is set to return in 2026 with a new edition taking place on May 13–14 at Terra Events Hall in Bucharest. Recognized as one of the key retail-focused events, the conference will once again bring together industry leaders to challenge their strategies and business plans in a demanding market environment, according to Wall-Street.

Among the first confirmed speakers is Juan Pablo Carnevale, representing the Mutti Group, the market leader in Italy for tomato-based products and a major global player with operations in Romania.

Carnevale brings more than 20 years of international experience in sales, marketing, and business development. He currently leads Mutti’s operations in Poland, the company’s Eastern Europe hub, and oversees the Romanian market. His background includes business internationalization, commercial and operational management, and the establishment of subsidiaries across global markets.

Under the theme The Retail Battle Field 2026: Innovate, Strategize, Lead Boldly, the two-day event will focus on key topics such as the future of shopping centers, AI in retail, personalization, logistics, sustainability, and winning omnichannel strategies. An EXPO area will also showcase the latest technologies, products, and services shaping the retail industry.
