Over 160,000 professionals in Romania have developed their language skills through Eucom’s programs. Eucom, the leader in corporate language education, was founded in 2002 by Delia and Silviu Dragomir. English remains the most in-demand language, followed by German and French, with interest in courses steadily growing as companies increasingly require international communication skills, even at entry-level positions.
According to Eurostat data, Romania ranks among the EU leaders in foreign language studies in schools, yet over 64% of adults report not speaking any foreign language. This gap is reflected in the labor market: in 2025, 60% of published job listings required knowledge of a foreign language, especially English, followed by German, French, and Italian.
Eucom combines language training with organizational wellbeing programs
Between January and August 2025, over 16,000 participants attended Eucom courses, including 9,186 in English, 2,712 in German, and 1,976 in French. For the first time in Romania, Eucom combines language training with organizational wellbeing programs, covering nutrition, coaching, and emotional health.
