Mihaila Georgiana-Cornelia is the founder of the advertising agency Creative ADN, a place where ideas come to light faster than Instagram trends. A specialist in Social Media platforms and a reporter for one of the biggest television stations in Romania, Georgiana blends strategy and storytelling like a perfect reel: short, captivating, and with a message that sticks. Creative down to her fingertips (including the ones that hit “like”), she believes humor saves many situations — including tangled briefs. She’s the kind of person who thinks pink isn’t just a color, but a state of mind — and with that mindset, she transforms ideas into content that stands out, whether on screen or in the feed.
C&B: If we were to trace the narrative thread of your career or business, what were the key moments that defined you?
Georgiana Mihaila: My narrative begins in Iași, but it truly started to take shape in Bucharest at 18, when I left with a clear dream (but no map): I wanted to work in television, but had no idea how. I enrolled in a TV school, then became a reporter, and in parallel, I started discovering communication from another angle — through my studies in Communication and Public Relations, and later through a part-time job that, without me knowing, was preparing me for my future. From there, everything flowed naturally: one project, then another, until I built a team and gave a name to my vision — Creative ADN. Now, I blend my life as a reporter with that of an entrepreneur and create content that not only gets views, but reaches people.
C&B: What has been the most difficult moment in your journey so far, and how did you overcome it?
Georgiana Mihaila: The hardest moment wasn’t a dramatic one — it was more of an accumulated fatigue over time, when you juggle two creative jobs, have projects in different cities, and spend more time in the car than at your desk. But the truth is, I love what I do so much that I rarely complain. This field has a kind of energy that drains you, but also recharges you — and I think I’ve learned to find balance not through long breaks, but through the joy of working with great people on projects that constantly challenge me.
C&B: Is there a dream or ambition that has always guided you, no matter the obstacles?
Georgiana Mihaila: Yes, I’ve always been guided by the desire for freedom — the freedom to create, to work with different people, to choose projects that inspire me. I never dreamed of working in an office with a fixed schedule and repetitive tasks. I love variety — days that aren’t alike, challenges that keep me on my toes, and the feeling that I can build great things without feeling constrained. Maybe that’s why I’ve ended up combining television, social media, and entrepreneurship: each one offers me something different, but all keep me far from routine.
C&B: What were you like at the beginning of your journey, and how do you feel you’ve transformed over time?
Georgiana Mihaila: At the beginning, I was honestly a kid with lots of dreams and zero concrete plans. Brave, but a bit chaotic. Now I feel I’ve transformed immensely — because the fields I work in don’t just shape you professionally, they mature you personally. Working with very different people, from completely different industries, I’ve learned something new every day — about the world and about myself. One thing, however, has stayed constant: my passion for pink. As someone once said about me: “Don’t be fooled by all the pink… she knows exactly what she’s doing.”
C&B: If we met your team or collaborators, what do you think they would say about you?
Georgiana Mihaila: They’d probably say I’m the kind of person who comes up with five good ideas before finishing my coffee — and that I’m always “tuned in,” even when my phone’s on silent. Generally, people see me as very creative and present — someone who replies quickly, thinks visually, and makes you laugh between two brainstorming sessions.
C&B: What is the most important decision you’ve made that changed your trajectory?
Georgiana Mihaila: The most important decision was to do things my own way, even if it meant not following a conventional path. To combine television with social media, to build an agency that truly represents me, and to choose projects I genuinely enjoy. It was a decision that kept me away from routine and brought me exactly where I wanted to be.
C&B: How did you build your leadership style or decision-making approach? Was it a natural or learned process?
Georgiana Mihaila: I think a lot of it came naturally, especially when you feel you’re following God’s plan — everything seems to flow more smoothly and make sense. But at the same time, I knew it was important not to rely solely on intuition. So I invested in myself constantly: I took courses, learned from mistakes, and refined what I already felt was in my DNA. To me, leadership doesn’t mean knowing everything, but knowing how to listen, how to learn, and how to inspire others to do their work their way — but with the same enthusiasm.
C&B: What do you think sets your business or professional approach apart in the industry?
Georgiana Mihaila: I think what truly sets me apart is my sincere, wholehearted involvement in everything I do. I don’t just work for people, I work with them — whether we’re talking about clients, colleagues, or collaborators. I’m there with them, I celebrate when things go spectacularly, and I stand with them when challenges arise. I can’t — and don’t want to — be the “cold and calculated” type of entrepreneur. I believe in real connections and in the idea that performance is built with empathy.
C&B: What does a typical day look like for you now, and which moments bring you the most satisfaction?
Georgiana Mihaila: For me, a “typical” day is almost science fiction — no two are alike. What stays constant, however, are my laptop and phone — not out of obsession, but because that’s where my work lives. Between filming, writing strategies, client meetings, planning, and content for the show, I’m constantly juggling ideas and deadlines. Personally, I find time (almost daily) to cook — both for pleasure and because I care about a healthy lifestyle. I also hit the gym some days, and in general, I try to work with purpose, without wasted time. My greatest satisfactions? When ideas come to life, and when, between two tasks, I get to pour a bit of my soul into a well-thought-out story.
C&B: What values or principles guide your work, and how do you apply them daily?
Georgiana Mihaila: The core value that guides me is honesty. I like to do things as if I were doing them for myself: with commitment, attention to detail, and without making promises just for marketing’s sake. I believe authenticity and respect — both for my work and for those around me — are essential. In every project, big or small, I try to leave a mark of quality, not just a presence.
C&B: If you were to share a message with people who look up to you, what would it be?
Georgiana Mihaila: I’d tell them to be authentic — both online and offline. Don’t try to copy what works for others; discover what works for you. Because, in the end, people can feel the truth — even through filters and algorithms. And authenticity will always be the best strategy.
