Minister Dragos Pîslaru: “Our goal is to double the all-time high”
Romania aims to make 2026 its strongest year ever in terms of EU funds absorption. Dragoș Pîslaru, Minister of Investments and European Projects, says the country targets at least €15 billion in total EU funding, including €10 billion from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
“Our target for 2026 is to double the historical maximum of EU funds absorption. At least €15 billion invested in hospitals, schools, highways, local infrastructure and economic competitiveness,” the minister said.
