Deal boosts the group’s Building Solutions strategy
According to Forbes, Holcim has acquired Alkern, a French producer of precast concrete elements, the company announced in a press release. Alkern is expected to generate net sales of around €250 million in 2025.
Founded in 1972, Alkern employs approximately 1,000 people and operates more than 50 production sites across France and Belgium. The company delivers precast concrete solutions for sustainable construction, alongside products for the built environment spanning infrastructure, industrial projects, and residential and commercial buildings.
