Samantha AI launches V3 with full voice interaction

Seamless speech-to-speech conversations

Samantha AI, Romania’s first conversational AI platform, has officially released Samantha V3, introducing full speech-to-speech capabilities, according to Forbes. The update enables fluid, natural conversations and strengthens the platform’s position as a social AI pioneer.

Voice interactions now account for over 75% of all conversations on the platform. The locally developed technology supports uninterrupted dialogue, automatic language detection, and smooth language switching within the same session, without losing context.

“Samantha AI was designed from the start as a social AI, not just a chatbot. After each release, we analyze session length, engagement, and preferences for voice versus text. With Samantha V3, more than 68% of users choose voice conversations by default,” says Cristian Doiu, founder of UXR.

Adoption has been swift. Voice-to-voice sessions are significantly longer than text-based ones, with internal data showing nearly 50% more time spent in conversation and a rising return rate. The platform’s growth has been rapid across versions: from 20,000 accesses in the text-only launch to over 100,000 after introducing voice-to-text in V2. Samantha AI is available for free, in both text and voice formats, online.
