WordPress has introduced a new artificial intelligence assistant integrated directly into its platform, designed to help users customize website design and generate media content, according to Forbes.
The tool is available on wordpress.com for Business and Commerce plan subscribers. Within the site editor, users can input text-based commands to adjust fonts, colors, layouts and other visual elements, without requiring advanced coding skills. The system interprets instructions and automatically applies the requested changes, streamlining the customization process.

Image generation and writing support
The AI assistant can also generate images for published articles. In the media library, users are able to create new visuals based on text descriptions or edit existing images through written commands. The feature supports rapid visual content creation and specific adjustments, such as modifying graphic elements or adapting images to a particular style.
Beyond design and visuals, the assistant provides writing support. Users can request text generation, paragraph rewriting according to stylistic guidelines or adaptation of content to a specific tone.
