Xiaomi expands its ecosystem: electric scooters, Wear OS 6 smartwatch and the new Xiaomi Pad 8 series

Xiaomi has unveiled a new product lineup that further strengthens its strategy of building an integrated hardware ecosystem, spanning urban mobility, wearables, smart accessories and productivity tablets. The new portfolio includes the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Series, Xiaomi Watch 5, Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W, Xiaomi Tag, REDMI Buds 8 Pro, and the Xiaomi Pad 8 series.

In urban mobility, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Series features five models, led by the flagship Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Ultra, delivering up to 1200W peak power in Boost mode, up to 75 km range, and fast charging (30 km restored in about one hour). The model includes dual disc brakes, E-ABS, TCS, IPX6 water resistance, and integration with Xiaomi Home and Apple Find My.

Wear OS 6 and Google integration on Xiaomi Watch 5

Xiaomi Watch 5 runs Wear OS 6 by Google, offering access to Google Maps, Calendar, Play and Google Wallet with NFC. The device integrates Google Gemini, enabling hands-free assistance without a smartphone. Battery life reaches up to 6 days in smart mode or 18 days in power-saving mode, supported by a 930 mAh battery and Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 platform.

In accessories, Xiaomi introduces a 6 mm ultra-thin magnetic power bank with 15W wireless charging, and Xiaomi Tag, compatible with Apple Find My and Google Android Find Hub, offering over one year of battery life and IP67 protection.

Audio is covered by REDMI Buds 8 Pro, featuring triple coaxial drivers, Dolby Audio support and up to 55 dB active noise cancellation. Total battery life reaches 33 hours with the charging case.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro series brings 11.2-inch tablets with 3.2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, 5.75 mm thickness and 9,200 mAh battery. The Pro version integrates Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 50MP main camera and up to 512GB storage.

Xiaomi Pad 8 pricing starts at RON 2,199, while Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro starts at RON 3,099. Several products benefit from promotional vouchers and temporary discounts through official channels and authorized retailers.
