It was designed as a platform for interaction, helping participants better understand labor market requirements and key competencies.
Discussions on the future of work
Speakers included alumni now working in tech companies, alongside industry professionals.
They discussed topics such as career paths, technological evolution, and the impact of AI on work.
Organizers emphasized the importance of collaboration between people, technology, and communities in shaping the future of work.
Skills and competitive edge
The key takeaway was that success in IT increasingly depends on performance, specialization, and the ability to deliver relevant solutions, rather than cost advantages.
Local ecosystems can serve as a starting point, but long-term competitiveness relies on innovation and quality.
EU-funded project
The event is part of the PRACTIC – Practice aligned with IT&C realities project, implemented between November 2024 and June 2026, with a total value of RON 4.9 million.
It is funded through the Education and Employment Programme 2021–2027 (ESF+).
Initiative goal
According to Gabriela Onu-Badea, the initiative aims to answer a key question for students: how to turn internships into real career opportunities.
