The Happy Cinema chain is expanding and has announced the opening of a new premium multiplex cinema with 5 projection rooms in Colosseum Mall. The investment for Happy Cinema Colosseum amounts to €1.4 million and introduces innovations in terms of design, facilities, and technology.
The new location at Colosseum Mall offers a top-tier cinematic experience, featuring state-of-the-art technology and a design focused on comfort and functionality. The cinema halls are equipped with modern seating, including recliners in the VIP hall, and laser projection systems that provide superior image quality compared to traditional lamp-based systems. Moreover, the spaces are designed to host private events and alternative content, such as theater performances and artistic shows, meeting the diverse needs of its audience.

The official opening will feature a special screening of the Romanian comedy „Ţăndări”
The grand opening of the new multiplex at Colosseum Mall will take place on Wednesday, January 29, and will be marked by a special screening, starting at 8:00 PM, of „Ţăndări”, a Romanian feature film directed by Bogdan Naumovici. The screening will take place in the presence of the film’s cast and crew.
The comedy „Ţăndări” tells a fictional, humor-filled story of rivalry. Two villages face an unusual dilemma: with an insufficient government budget, their rival mayors decide to settle the issue with a decisive football match. In this intense competition, both sides employ unexpected strategies to win, providing audiences with a delightful mix of themes such as money, football, and marriage.
