Cabana Relaxării 2025, organized by the Fit Cancer Survivor Community, offers a free weekend of healing, movement, and joy for cancer patients from across Romania.
The Fit Cancer Survivor Community, founded by Emilia Cotul, a personal trainer with over 20 years of experience, continues this year its unique tradition in Romania of offering free workouts and relaxation moments for cancer patients across the country. The initiative, which for more than two years has brought together hundreds of people facing the challenges of the fight against cancer, has become a true network of support, empathy, and reconnection through movement.

Through daily training sessions, support discussions, and group activities, Emilia Cotul has managed to create a safe space where patients can regain their energy, confidence in their own bodies, and the joy of living an active life, even after difficult treatments.
As a recognition of these individuals’ effort and courage, the community organizes every year the “Cabana Relaxării” (The Relaxation Cabin) — a free, pro bono weekend dedicated exclusively to cancer patients. This year’s edition will take place between November 14–16, 2025, in Arieșeni, in a spectacular natural setting, where participants will enjoy relaxation, exercise, and activities designed to bring them joy and balance.
The program includes physiotherapy and therapeutic massage sessions, hiking and cycling trips, breathing and relaxation exercises, a fun pajama party evening full of smiles, and a campfire night featuring a live cover band (violin and guitar) that will add emotion and connection to the experience.
Participants will also have the chance to listen to inspiring life stories shared by special guests who have gone through similar experiences, as well as to take part in a session led by a human resources specialist, focused on professional reintegration after cancer treatments — an essential topic for regaining confidence and independence.
“We want every patient to feel that they are not alone, that movement, community, and joy can be authentic forms of healing,” says Emilia Cotul, founder of Fit Cancer Survivor.

The event is organized at no cost for participants, made possible thanks to the partners and volunteers who believe in the mission of this community — to prove that healing begins through movement, solidarity, and gratitude for life.
Cabana Relaxării 2025 is more than just an event, it’s proof that hope, solidarity, and movement can turn the healing journey into a deeply meaningful experience. Through the efforts of Emilia Cotul and the Fit Cancer Survivor community, each participant receives not only physical support but also emotional strength, rediscovering the joy of living in its truest form.
