ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG), one of Europe’s leading rail freight operators, has announced the expansion of its intermodal transport network, including new connections targeting the Romanian market, according to Revista Cariere.
The Austrian group has launched two new routes: TransFER Duisburg–Rotterdam and TransFER Salzburg–Offenbach. Both services allow the transport of individual wagons and containers on fixed schedules and are designed to improve access to key logistics hubs in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria, offering predictable and efficient rail solutions for customers.
