Ecovillas Company, a Bucharest-based residential developer founded by Veaceslav Vlas, is launching a new premium housing project in Mogoșoaia. Named Nouvert, the development will feature 16 detached homes and has an estimated total value of €8.6 million, with starting prices from €500,000 plus VAT, according to Forbes.
The project is built around a residential wellbeing concept, focusing on occupants’ health, integration with nature and energy efficiency. Located on a 10,000 sqm plot at the edge of Moțoc Forest, construction started this year, with completion expected by the end of next year.

Ecovillas says the project reflects shifting preferences in the high-end segment, as buyers increasingly prioritise indoor environmental quality, lower energy costs and proximity to green areas. Nouvert incorporates geothermal and photovoltaic systems, energy-recovery ventilation, cooling solutions without conventional air conditioning, central vacuum systems and full electric mobility infrastructure.
To date, Ecovillas has delivered five residential projects in northern Bucharest, including LOFT Green Apartments, Romania’s first apartment complex equipped with geo-exchange heat pumps. The company recently completed and almost fully sold its Epique Home and Ecovillas Otopeni developments.
Alongside its Romanian expansion, Ecovillas is preparing to enter the Moldovan residential market with Lake View Development, a €22 million project near Chișinău. The development will include 94 nZEB-standard homes built in partnership with Dutch investors, with the first units scheduled for delivery in 2026.
