Fort, a cybersecurity company listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, has appointed Delia Necula as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), according to Economedia. She will take over executive leadership while retaining her position as a member of the Board of Directors.
“Cybersecurity is no longer optional—it is a critical necessity for every organisation. Threats are becoming more sophisticated, the rapid adoption of AI is creating new vulnerabilities, and the European regulatory framework—through NIS2, DORA and the AI Act—sets stricter standards for companies in critical sectors. Fort has the expertise and the team to address these challenges,” said Delia Necula.

Updated Board of Directors
Fort also announced changes to its Board of Directors. Dragoș Dărăbuț will continue his mandate, while the board is joined by Anca Manițiu (Agista Executive Board Member and Deputy CEO of Impetum Group), Andreea Bulisache (international technology executive with AI governance expertise and former Microsoft leader), and Bogdan Moldovan, CEO of Axigen Messaging.
The appointments come as European regulations such as NIS2 and DORA significantly raise cybersecurity and digital resilience requirements for companies across key industries.
