Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com has launched its new platform Joybuy in Europe, stepping up competition with Amazon, according to Wall-Street.
Multi-market launch
Joybuy is currently available in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, as reported by Reuters.

The expansion reflects a broader trend of Chinese companies targeting Western markets amid slowing domestic demand.
Product offering
The platform features over 100,000 products, including electronics, home appliances, beauty products, and groceries.
Brands include Apple, Samsung, Sony, Philips, as well as L’Oréal and De’Longhi.
Fast delivery as a key advantage
Joybuy emphasizes same-day and next-day delivery, with same-day options available for orders placed before 11:00.
Free shipping is offered for orders above €29, and a subscription service, JoyPlus, provides unlimited deliveries for around €3.99 per month.
Strategic expansion
JD.com is strengthening its European footprint following moves such as the acquisition agreement with Ceconomy.
Analysts note that success will depend on pricing, differentiation, and logistics performance in a highly competitive market.
