Swedish group Lindab, a producer of roofing, steel structures and ventilation systems, is leaving Romania after selling its local operations to Slovak entrepreneurs Marián Kapusta Sr. and Marián Kapusta Jr., marking the company’s full withdrawal from the Romanian metal profiles market.
The deal includes the Ștefăneștii de Jos factory, storage operations and the sales team. The local business generates around 210 million Swedish kronor per year (about €18 million) and employs roughly 100 people.
