He is Luca Alfieri, a young entrepreneur from the Amalfi Coast, owner of the “Immobiliare Alfieri” agency.

C&B: Give a description or define your business!

Luca Alfieri: Our business deals with:

• Sale of properties on the Amalfi Coast, also targeting foreign markets where this audience requests properties to be used in the future as accommodation facilities, thus recovering the investment made;
• Property management on the Amalfi Coast: we offer multiple rooms, apartments, villas, and ancillary services (transfers, excursions, boat trips, trekking, etc.).

C&B: What is the history of the evolution of your business?

Luca Alfieri: We started 12 years ago with a small guesthouse. I had returned from the USA where I worked as a technician on cruise ships, and I began renovating my first 3 rooms. I saw that the business was growing, and I started to specialize in the real estate sector, obtaining all the certifications. So today, our company manages about 30 properties, plus various properties, villas, and lands for sale.

C&B: What were your visions as children/adolescents and what are they now?

Luca Alfieri: As a child, I wanted a job that allowed me to work not always in the same place and not be bound by fixed hours.

C&B: What are the life and business principles that you do not give up on, and what is their explanation?

Luca Alfieri: I do not give up on a healthy diet and sports.

C&B: How have the pandemic, economic crises, and wars influenced/affected your business?

Luca Alfieri: We are tied to tourism, and when the world came to a halt due to the pandemic, we were left completely without customers. It was not an easy period.

C&B: Tell us some amusing situations from your business!

Luca Alfieri: They happen every day: we deal with a multicultural clientele and various age groups. So every day, strange episodes occur: someone forgets things, keys after climbing 300 steps, people forgetting passports, etc.

C&B: You have a potential client or partner in front of you. What is the phrase that convinces them?

Luca Alfieri: We don’t convince anyone; we are professionals, and the fact that they come to our office or contact us is because we have professionalism and expertise.

C&B: What advice do you have for those who are starting out or undecided?

Luca Alfieri: To study and train because improvisation only creates problems.

C&B: What are your perceptions of society and its evolution?

Luca Alfieri: We are increasingly moving towards a digitized and telematic world. A faster world that increasingly seeks tailor-made services based on customer needs.
