C&B: How would you describe your evolution story?
Bianca Stan: My story is about transformation and self-discovery. I started as a programmer, but I felt I wasn’t reaching my full potential. Motivated by the desire to be a role model for my children, motherhood pushed me to rediscover myself and try new things with courage. This led me to launch my personal blog, biancastan.ro.
This journey steered my evolution into becoming a digital strategist and a leader at MabIT. The combination of technical skills and leadership abilities allowed me to develop MabIT in the field of digital solutions. This path reflects a deep commitment to personal and professional growth, both for myself and for our clients.
I’ve learned that personal development and fulfillment are essential to creating a positive impact around me.
Marian Stan: With a solid career in B2B and B2C sales and vast experience in event organizing, I reinvented myself as an entrepreneur through courage and innovation. Inspired by Bianca, my wife and partner, and driven by the challenges of the pandemic, I decided to channel my expertise into growing MabIT and MabEvents. My dedication to personal development and client focus has helped me build valuable relationships with over 100 entrepreneurs (clients).
My commitment to deeply understanding each business and its specific needs is the foundation for offering complete and impactful solutions in marketing and event organizing. Together with Bianca, we form a powerful duo, with a holistic and personalized approach to all initiatives.
C&B: What does DIGITALIZATION mean today?
Bianca & Marian Stan: We believe that digitalization today is more than just adopting technology. It’s a fundamental transformation in how we interact, connect, and develop our businesses. Digitalization speeds up processes, facilitates instant global connections, and offers unprecedented opportunities for growth and development. However, it’s also a changing playing field, where certain jobs disappear, while new ones emerge to meet evolving needs.
At its core, digitalization is not just about technology, but about the vast opportunities for evolution and adaptation in a constantly changing world.
C&B: How does a business develop through digitalization? List a few solutions.
Bianca & Marian Stan: For business development in the digital era, we want to highlight the importance of optimizing work processes and communication, both internally and with clients. This includes streamlining processes and expanding the business through technology.
At MabIT, we focus on developing personalized strategies involving targeted digital campaigns, SEO optimizations, and data analysis to attract ideal clients. This contributes to improving user experience and sustainable business growth. Implementing these digital solutions is essential for success in today’s dynamic business environment.
C&B: How would you define a correct and healthy marketing strategy?
Bianca Stan: Regardless of the type of promotional strategy, whether it’s a general brand strategy or a campaign strategy, there are a few steps that, if not followed, turn marketing into an expense, not an investment.
These steps are clarity, analysis, planning, and only then implementation.
When I say clarity, I mean that through strategy, we manage to clarify WHAT we are selling, what motivates clients, and WHAT they are actually buying from us. But that’s not enough; it’s also important to clarify who the target audience is, whom we believe we can win over.
In the clarity stage, it’s also about WHAT I want to achieve and what I’m measuring. Implementation boils down to action, measurement, and adaptation based on results.
C&B: What are the principles of life and work that guide you?
Marian Stan: The strongest currency in entrepreneurship is trust. In life and business, my principles revolve around trust and communication. These are essential not only in my relationship with Bianca, my life and business partner, but also in all professional interactions. I see every situation as a learning opportunity, adopting the idea that there’s no right or wrong, just experiences that contribute to our growth. My investments in personal development have shown me the importance of adaptability and continuous innovation. So, even when things are going well, I strive to create my own challenges to avoid stagnation or complacency. This philosophy is reflected in our companies’ values and in how we interact with employees and collaborators.
C&B: How quickly can a new business grow online?
Bianca Stan: The growth of an online business, especially at the start of its journey, depends on numerous factors. I want to emphasize the importance of frequent interactions and an omnichannel marketing strategy to shorten the conversion time. On average, it takes over 50 interactions for a potential customer to consider a purchase. This translates to at least two months if you interact with that person daily. The pace of growth varies based on the quality of the content and the optimization of the online presence. Also, gaining customer trust is the most challenging and takes time to build. A minimum of 6 months is needed to assess the effectiveness of a strategy. Through our activities, we support the sales process, understanding that the development of a successful business relies on balancing time and financial resources.
C&B: The limits of social media. Where is the younger generation getting lost?
Marian Stan: In a world flooded with information, the challenge is to distinguish valuable content from superficial content and to choose the right role models. The younger generation risks getting lost in an ocean of fleeting content, becoming consumers without truly engaging with the useful information that could aid their development. This is why we’ve taken on the mission to develop a project that, among other things, aims to connect users only with what they are truly interested in. I can’t share many details about this project yet.
C&B: What’s your view on AI?
Marian Stan: Artificial intelligence, when used responsibly, can be a driving force of innovation in many fields, including marketing. I believe it’s essential to approach AI with an ethical perspective, ensuring that its benefits are accessible and bring a positive impact to society. Just like tools, AI applications are created to make work easier, but it’s not advisable to rely on them to think for us.
C&B: What workshops do you organize to develop the community through your work?
Bianca Stan: To support community development through our work, we organize various workshops. One of them is the “Build Your Digital Business” workshop, focused on teaching the right way to do marketing, aimed at entrepreneurs starting out, as well as their teams. The main goal is to bring clarity through this workshop. We also organized a course on native mobile app development, which lasted 9 weeks and was aimed at programmers who wanted to learn how to develop a native Android/iOS mobile app. Currently, we are working on creating the first omnichannel marketing course in Romania, an initiative meant to provide essential skills and updated knowledge in a continuously evolving field. These workshops and courses are designed to help participants achieve success in the digital age.
C&B: What’s your opinion on society and its evolution?
Marian Stan: I believe that the evolution of society and technology brings both challenges and opportunities. It’s important to continuously adapt and promote equal access to technology while also being aware of its impact on our well-being. In our children’s education, we combine technological learning with maintaining essential human values. Ultimately, nothing is inherently good or bad; what matters is how we choose to use technology – to help us, not dominate us.
C&B: How does an IMAGE sell? What factors are taken into account?
Bianca Stan: Creating and selling an image involves a deep understanding of the target audience and how they perceive the brand’s values. Key factors include authenticity, message consistency, and visual quality, which contribute to creating an emotional connection with customers. Emotional connection is important because purchasing decisions are initially emotional, followed by rational justifications. I like a phrase that offers a different perspective on the subject: “Marketing invites you for coffee. Branding helps you make a decision!” In other words, we first buy with our senses and emotions, then rationalize the choice.
C&B: What are the trends in the digital world?
Bianca Stan: We can already see that social media promotion is increasingly done through personal branding, and the lines between company brands, employees, and employers are blurring. We’re learning that authenticity, message consistency, and building a relationship with the audience are differentiating factors. None of this can be achieved without also leveraging technology to personalize communication and interactions with clients as much as possible. So the focus should be on providing pleasant experiences for customers, no matter where they interact with the brand.
C&B: How would you define a DIGITALLY EDUCATED ROMANIA in 3 words?
Marian Stan: Connected, Responsible, and Aware.
