Driving growth, operational efficiency and enhanced platform value
Glovo has announced the appointment of Bogdan Meica as General Manager for Romania. In his new role, Meica will oversee local operations and lead strategic initiatives aimed at business growth, process optimization and productivity improvement.
He will be responsible for advancing Glovo’s services in Romania and strengthening the platform’s value proposition for partners, customers and couriers, with a focus on service diversification and a more personalized user experience.

Prior to this role, Bogdan Meica led the expansion of Glovo’s Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce) and Advertising segments, holding full responsibility for strategy execution and financial performance. He supervised key business areas, including partnerships with major grocery retailers, non-food retailers and specialized stores.
Meica also headed Glovo’s Advertising division, the company’s in-house retail media solution designed to provide brands in Romania with online and offline promotional tools that support in-app sales growth, user retention and audience expansion.
