HyperX becomes the core of HP’s gaming strategy
HP Inc. has officially unified OMEN and HyperX under a single gaming-focused brand, HyperX, and introduced a new generation of high-end gaming products, Forbes reports. The move signals a strategic shift aimed at delivering a fully integrated experience that blends OMEN PC performance with HyperX peripherals and intelligent software solutions.
At the center of the lineup is HyperX OMEN MAX 16, described as the world’s most powerful gaming laptop with fully internal cooling. The system delivers up to 300W of total processing power and features Intel Core Ultra 200HX or next-generation AMD Ryzen AI processors, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.

Additional launches include the HyperX Clutch Tachi, HP’s first officially licensed Xbox arcade controller, and an experimental HyperX EEG headset developed with Neurable, which uses neurotechnology and AI to analyze brain activity in real time.
