The most promising startups and scaleups from Romania and the Republic of Moldova were awarded at the Romania Startup Awards 2026, organized by Romania Tech Startup Association, according to Forbes.
More than 150 tech companies participated in the competition, active in areas such as artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, and cleantech.

The title of Startup of the Year in Romania was awarded to Kinderpedia, which develops an AI-based digital platform for schools and kindergartens.
In the Republic of Moldova, the award went to Finergy Tech, focused on instant payment solutions and QR integration.

In the scaleup category:
- VoicePatrol – fastest revenue growth
- Brizy – strongest global presence
- Ogre AI – most relevant funding
Growing ecosystem
The event highlights the diversification of the regional tech ecosystem, with startups across AI, fintech, healthtech, and agritech.
The next edition is scheduled for February 25, 2027.
