Toyota has officially introduced the GR GT, a two-seat hybrid supercar delivering 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque to the rear wheels, with a top speed exceeding 320 km/h. The model will also receive a dedicated racing version – the GR GT GT3 – while Lexus prepares a fully electric alternative.
Developed by Toyota’s Gazoo Racing division, the GR GT follows the classic grand tourer formula: long hood, low stance and a newly developed 4.0-liter V8 engine mounted at the front and driving the rear axle. The hybrid system boosts overall performance, with Toyota suggesting final output could rise before production begins in 2027.
