Vel Pitar recalls bread batches after foreign object detection

Romanian bakery company Vel Pitar has initiated a voluntary recall of certain bread batches after confirming an isolated case of foreign object contamination, according to an announcement by the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA), cited by Agerpres.

During internal checks, the company identified a fragment of white plastic material, prompting a precautionary withdrawal and recall of the affected products.
