BT Direct, part of Banca Transilvania, is expanding its retail partnerships through a collaboration with JYSK România, aimed at improving access to financing for home-related purchases.
Under the partnership, customers shopping in JYSK stores can access financing of up to RON 40,000, using a simplified digital process based on scanning a QR code available in-store. The initiative integrates financing solutions directly into the purchasing journey, making the experience faster and more accessible.

According to BT Direct, the partnership responds to growing consumer interest in home comfort investments. “We are seeing increased demand for solutions that support home improvement and functionality,” said Nicoleta Bott.
Cristian Cuzmin from JYSK România added that the initiative enhances product accessibility, enabling customers to complete their home plans more easily through a simple financing solution.
Market context
BT Direct currently serves over 250,000 active customers and provides financing solutions across more than 2,000 partner locations.
JYSK operates over 150 stores in Romania and is part of a global network with more than 3,500 stores in 50 countries.
The collaboration highlights a growing retail trend: embedding financing directly into the shopping experience, driven by increasing demand for home improvement solutions.
