Susanna Tusa has been appointed General Manager and Vice President of Nokian Tyres Romania Operations. She will also oversee the construction project of the factory in Oradea. This spring, Nokian Tyres celebrated the groundbreaking of the world’s first CO2-neutral tire factory in the city of Oradea. According to the company’s plans, the factory is set to start producing its first tires in the second half of 2024, with commercial tire production scheduled to commence in early 2025. The factory is expected to employ approximately 550 people.
Susanna Tusa brings extensive professional experience within Nokian Tyres, having held various key positions over the years. From 2008 to 2020, she served as the group’s legal counsel before taking on the role of overseeing the global supply chain. Since 2022, Susanna has been coordinating the outsourcing of tire manufacturing for passenger cars, including partner selection and negotiation of commercial agreements. As the General Manager of operations in Romania and the project coordinator for the factory construction, her responsibilities, starting in September, involve implementing Nokian Tyres’ operations in Romania and leading the local management team. Susanna will be based in Oradea.
We wish her success and express gratitude for this opportunity provided by the company she represents, benefiting 550 Romanians and contributing to the national economy.
