West Group has rolled out a transparency package for residential projects currently on sale, alongside an internal payment traceability standard. The move follows the adoption of Law No. 207/2025, widely known as the “Nordis” law, which tightens rules for real estate transactions—especially off-plan housing—focusing on buyer protection and financial transparency.
According to the company, the package brings together clearly verifiable criteria and documentation, enabling stakeholders to track construction milestones, payments, and delivery timelines. The goal is to publicly standardize the information that buyers and lenders should be able to check quickly and at any time.

“Law 207/2025 clarifies market expectations and creates a common language for authorities, buyers, and banks. We go a step further by publicly standardizing what a buyer or financier should be able to verify at any moment—documents, stages, payments, and delivery benchmarks. The objective is simple: greater trust and more efficient financing for sound projects,” said Dan Crăciunescu, founder of West Group.
Housing supply remains under pressure
The announcement comes as new housing supply in the Bucharest–Ilfov area remains constrained. Around 17,000 homes were completed in 2024, down about 19.3% year-on-year. In 2025, deliveries increased only slightly, by roughly 1,000 units compared with 2024, based on currently available data.
West Group operates across real estate development, construction, logistics spaces, and building materials manufacturing, with residential projects in Romania and Germany, including Frankfurt, Jena, Munich, and Stuttgart.
