Affidea România continues its expansion strategy in integrated healthcare services by acquiring five medical centers located in Bucharest, Arad, Sfântu Gheorghe and Sighetu Marmației. Following the transaction, the network reaches 81 clinics across 33 cities, according to Revista Cariere.
Expansion into new cities and increased diagnostic capacity

The acquisition includes several Phoenix clinics as well as the GMH Clinic in Bucharest, marking the company’s entry into two new markets: Sfântu Gheorghe and Sighetu Marmației.
This expansion aims to improve access to medical imaging services and outpatient care in areas with growing demand.
Expanded medical services
The newly integrated centers strengthen Affidea’s diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
At the Phoenix center in Sfântu Gheorghe, patients can access MRI scans and ultrasound services, while the units in Sighetu Marmației and Bucharest CF2 also provide MRI examinations.
In Arad, the service portfolio is broader, including imaging services as well as specialist consultations in Neurology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and Orthopedics-Traumatology.

“Affidea operates an integrated medical ecosystem and owns the largest fleet of imaging equipment in Romania, equipped with AI technology, setting new standards in diagnostics.”

Through this acquisition, Affidea strengthens its position in the private healthcare market, focusing on infrastructure expansion and integrated service delivery.
